Sergeant Naomi de Ris

On Thursday we went to the Library where we met Sergeant Naomi de Ris of Castlebar Garda Station. Naomi very kindly took time to chat with us about a day in the life of a Garda. She spoke to us about the wide and varied duties of An Garda Síochána (Guardians of the Peace) and she showed us the various pieces of equipment she carries with her. A big thank you for  Sergeant Naomi for taking the time to teach us about the Gardaí and to Castlebar County Library for advertising the event.
